- • Lead compensation strategy and program execution for the U.S. and Canada, while supporting assigned global functions to ensure alignment with organizational priorities.
- • Advise HR and business leaders on pay decisions for hiring, promotions, internal mobility, and career growth, balancing market competitiveness, internal equity, and business needs.
- • Own end-to-end execution and continuous improvement of annual compensation planning cycles and core compensation processes.
- • Administer and govern quarterly incentive programs, collective bargaining agreement wage increases, and recognition-based compensation initiatives.
- • Conduct job evaluations and role leveling to support organizational design, workforce planning, and consistent compensation practices.
- • Develop data-driven recommendations on base pay, incentive structures, and recognition programs using market data, benchmarking, and analytics to inform talent and business decisions.
- • Translate complex compensation data into clear, actionable insights and compelling narratives for HR and senior business leaders.
- • Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and analyses using Excel, Power BI, or Qlik to monitor compensation trends and support decision-making.
- • Ensure all compensation practices comply with U.S. and Canadian laws, including FLSA, pay equity regulations, and pay transparency requirements.
- • Contribute to the development and refinement of compensation policies, governance frameworks, and manager guidance materials to standardize practices across regions.
- • Partner with HR Business Partners, finance teams, and global functional stakeholders to drive consistent, equitable compensation outcomes across a matrixed organization.
- • Collaborate with broader Total Rewards and regional HR teams to align practices with local market conditions while maintaining global standards.
- • Support occasional travel to company offices and align primarily with Eastern Time hours, with flexibility to support global collaboration as needed.
- • Serve as a trusted advisor on compensation matters, challenging thinking constructively and influencing pay decisions with credibility and data-backed reasoning.
- • Deliver high-quality, operational excellence in a fast-paced, evolving environment while maintaining focus on strategic, equitable, and compliant outcomes.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field
- • 8+ years of progressive experience in compensation, total rewards, or closely related analytical roles (or 5+ years with an advanced degree)
- • Demonstrated experience supporting compensation programs in a large, multinational, matrixed organization
- • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data storytelling skills with proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (Power BI or Qlik)
- • Experience working with HR systems such as Workday and market benchmarking surveys
- • Strong knowledge of U.S. and Canadian compensation practices, including FLSA, pay equity, and pay transparency requirements
