- • Lead Avantor’s global workforce planning cycle by building supply/demand models across business segments, functions, and geographies to align talent strategy with business transformation goals.
- • Partner with segment Presidents, HR Business Partners, and Finance teams to translate growth and restructuring objectives into structured headcount and capability plans.
- • Develop scenario models to support strategic redeployment, cost optimization, and organizational restructuring decisions with analytical rigor for senior business cases.
- • Design and implement the workforce planning methodology, including frameworks, cadence, and governance aligned to Avantor’s operating model.
- • Monitor global life sciences labor market trends to inform talent strategy and maintain competitive positioning in key regions.
- • Own Avantor’s people analytics function, delivering executive-ready insights on attrition risk, DEI progress, productivity, skills gaps, and organizational effectiveness through dashboards and predictive models.
- • Build and maintain scalable data pipelines from Workday and adjacent HR systems to ensure accurate, timely workforce data availability.
- • Serve as a trusted advisor to Finance on FTE budgeting, headcount governance, and cost transformation tracking, connecting people data to P&L outcomes.
- • Present workforce analytics findings in compelling, business-focused narratives to C-suite and segment leadership across multiple time zones.
- • Champion a data-led decision-making culture across the global HR function by enabling self-service reporting and analytics tools for HR and business leaders.
- • Establish and enforce data governance standards for all people data, ensuring compliance with EU GDPR and multi-jurisdictional employment legislation.
- • Continuously improve planning methodologies, tooling, and workflows in alignment with Avantor’s Business System continuous improvement approach.
- • Support headcount transparency and governance during periods of organizational restructuring and transformation.
- • Ensure workforce planning outputs are integrated into Avantor’s annual operating plan and multi-year transformation roadmap.
- • Deliver executive dashboards that drive monthly people strategy conversations at both segment and enterprise levels.
- • Improve headcount forecasting accuracy to enhance Finance reconciliation and cost transformation tracking.
- • Operate remotely from Poland, collaborating across global time zones and business units to support Avantor’s worldwide workforce strategy.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience in workforce planning, people analytics, or HR data roles with 3–5+ years at manager level within a large, complex, global organization
- • Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in Power BI/Tableau, Excel, and workforce planning tools
- • Experience using Workday and Workday Adaptive
- • Experience supporting business transformation, restructuring, or cost optimization programs through workforce data
- • Strong commercial acumen with ability to connect people data to P&L outcomes and strategic priorities
- • Solid understanding of employment law, data privacy legislation (EU GDPR), and workforce reporting obligations
