• • Senior Mechanical Design Engineer role focused on designing, developing, and testing drivetrain and actuator components for next-generation light electric vehicles at ALSO, an innovative electric mobility company spun out of Rivian.
• • Day-to-day responsibilities include creating 3D models and detailed drawing packages for mechanical parts, collaborating with electrical engineers on system integration, leading DFMEAs, developing design verification plans, coordinating with Tier 1/2 suppliers, and prototyping designs through hands-on fabrication and lab testing.
• • ALSO is a passionate team of builders and innovators dedicated to creating affordable, enjoyable, and highly efficient small EVs to replace car trips with sustainable mobility solutions, headquartered in Palo Alto with a world-class team from technology, automotive, and outdoor industries.
