- • Serve as a field-based scientific resource for healthcare providers, patients, industry partners, and internal teams, providing advanced disease state and product information related to cardiovascular therapies, particularly hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and heart failure.
- • Identify and engage national, regional, and local Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in cardiomyopathy Expert Centers through proactive and reactive scientific exchanges to build collaborative research and educational partnerships.
- • Maintain and expand professional relationships with hospital-based and office-based healthcare professionals including physicians, genetic counselors, nurses, payers, pharmacists, and investigators involved in cardiac disease management.
- • Facilitate access to educational grant requests and align Investigator-Initiated Program (IIP) activities with Cytokinetics’ scientific priorities and strategic goals.
- • Act as the primary Medical Affairs representative for assigned territories in France, ensuring accurate and timely responses to medical information requests and supporting Medical Affairs initiatives.
- • Represent Cytokinetics as a scientific expert at key medical and scientific conferences, advisory boards, clinical investigator meetings, and patient advocacy group meetings across France and Europe.
- • Collect, synthesize, and report clinical insights, unanswered questions, and unmet medical needs from external stakeholders to internal teams to inform future medical and product strategies.
- • Conduct routine literature reviews and share relevant scientific updates with the broader Medical Affairs team to ensure collective knowledge advancement.
- • Maintain deep expertise in cardiac diseases, including hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and heart failure, along with current treatment guidelines, emerging therapies, and competitive landscape developments.
- • Support clinical development programs by serving as a key liaison for company-sponsored trial investigators, investigator-initiated research, and patient registries in compliance with company objectives and regulatory standards.
- • Develop and execute Field Medical Affairs plans to identify and pursue collaborative opportunities with KOLs and institutions.
- • Identify and attend relevant national and international scientific congresses; review conference programs, support exhibit booths, and deliver timely written reports summarizing key insights and competitive intelligence.
- • Provide initial and ongoing training on disease states and products to internal and field personnel across Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, and Commercial teams.
- • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all activities within company databases and platforms, adhering to compliance and regulatory requirements.
- • Maintain full compliance with Cytokinetics policies, local French regulations, and international pharmaceutical industry guidelines including GDPR and other legal standards.
- • Utilize Microsoft Office and web-based applications to manage administrative tasks, communications, and data entry with precision and efficiency.
- • Travel domestically up to 80% and internationally on occasion to support field activities, conferences, and cross-functional initiatives.
- • Hold a valid driver’s license to enable effective field operations across assigned territories in France.
