📋 Description

• As a Senior Mendix Front-End Consultant, you will lead frontend development on customer engagements, driving digital innovation by guiding clients toward best-in-class UI experiences and serving as a trusted technical advisor throughout delivery.
• You will act as the lead frontend developer on Expert Services engagements, owning delivery quality and scalability, developing reusable UI elements using CSS, SASS, HTML5, and React, leveraging the Mendix Atlas UI Framework across Responsive, PWA, and Native contexts, and making autonomous visual and UX decisions when no designer is present.
• You will translate business requirements into intuitive UI designs, establish and maintain visual consistency through design systems, facilitate project meetings and Scrum ceremonies, contribute to internal documentation and best practices, and build your professional brand within the Mendix developer community by sharing valuable frontend content.
• You will work with global clients like KLM, Medtronic, Merck, and Philips, in a hyper-growth environment supported by Siemens’ resources, enabling you to advance your expertise in low-code frontend development, UI/UX leadership, and enterprise application delivery while shaping the future of how applications are built.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in frontend development and/or consulting and app delivery
• Proficiency in CSS, SASS, HTML5, and React; React Native experience is a strong plus
• A demonstrable design eye — the ability to make autonomous aesthetic and UX decisions that meet professional design standards without explicit designer guidance
• A portfolio showcasing technically sound and visually refined UI work (required as part of application)
• Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, with ability to create wireframes or mockups independently
• Working knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and responsive design principles
• Experience developing mobile-friendly, responsive web applications
• Mendix Advanced Certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Proven ability to build trusted client relationships and navigate complex project dynamics
• Relevant degree in Computer Science or a related field
