📋 Description

• Senior/Mid Software Engineer role focused on shaping the technical direction of a critical new product group within Kraken Technologies Limited, contributing to a more sustainable energy future through innovative technology.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and maintaining server-side applications using Python, Django, Django-REST-framework, and GraphQL (Graphene), working within a Kubernetes and AWS environment with CI/CD pipelines powered by Github, CircleCI, ArgoCD, and Spacelift.
• The engineering team consists of around 800 multidisciplinary engineers collaborating with UX experts, copywriters, and designers, utilizing tools like Slack, Notion, Google Docs, and Asana for communication and project management.
• The role offers significant opportunities to level up technical skills in a transparent, growth-focused environment where some coding conventions are open-source, enabling engineers to work on impactful projects from the ground up in the renewable energy sector.

🎯 Requirements

• Proficiency in Python and server-side development
• Experience with Django, Django-REST-framework, and GraphQL (Graphene)
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and AWS infrastructure
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Github, CircleCI, ArgoCD, or Spacelift
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team using Slack, Notion, Google Docs, and Asana
