- • As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer on the Vision Team at Flock Safety, you will be instrumental in advancing our mission to make communities safer through innovative technology. You will own a critical part of the machine learning model lifecycle, focusing on the enrichment of data and the enhancement of our AI capabilities. This role is for a proactive and experienced individual passionate about translating complex, real-world challenges into robust machine learning solutions.
- • You will dive deep into the intricacies of our existing data acquisition, model training, and evaluation pipelines, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing enhancements to create more effective datasets and refine model feedback mechanisms. Your work will directly contribute to the accuracy and reliability of our safety technology, enabling our devices to 'decode evidence like a detective' and ultimately contributing to crime elimination.
- • This position requires a blend of theoretical understanding and practical application. You will leverage cutting-edge research and state-of-the-art technologies to develop custom solutions that push the boundaries of what's possible in safety technology. This involves not just applying existing frameworks but also innovating and building novel approaches where necessary.

🎯 Requirements
- • 6+ years of experience in Machine Learning Engineering or related software engineering roles.
- • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- • Proven experience with Machine Learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
- • Solid understanding of both Deep Learning and Traditional ML algorithms (supervised and unsupervised).
- • Experience writing production-level Python code within a collaborative team environment.
- • Demonstrated ability to tackle complex problems, learn quickly, iterate effectively, and persist towards robust solutions.
- • Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to different audiences.
- • Basic SQL knowledge for data querying and manipulation.
- • Basic Git knowledge for version control.
- • Preferred: Experience with linear algebra, probability, and statistics.
