• • Delinea Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior .NET Cloud Security Software Engineer to join our dynamic platform engineering team. This is a U.S. Remote position, offering the opportunity to contribute to a leading cybersecurity company at the forefront of identity security. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing our cloud-native platform, ensuring its robust security and compliance, particularly for government deployments.
• • As a Senior .NET Cloud Security Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in updating critical libraries and application services to support Azure Government deployment, a key initiative for achieving FedRAMP certification. Simultaneously, you will maintain and enhance our existing commercial cloud deployments, ensuring seamless operation and security across all environments.
• • Your responsibilities will extend to modernizing our observability infrastructure, implementing advanced security hardening measures, and developing comprehensive reference implementations. These implementations will serve as blueprints, empowering other service teams within Delinea to successfully deploy their applications to government cloud environments, thereby accelerating our reach and impact.
• • You will be responsible for the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of scalable, highly available cloud-based applications. This will primarily involve leveraging C#/.NET Core within performant Kubernetes clusters, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• • A significant aspect of your role will involve updating existing libraries and services to ensure compatibility and optimal performance across both Azure commercial and Azure Government environments. This requires a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure and service nuances.
• • You will proactively address and remediate security findings. This includes conducting thorough cryptographic implementation reviews to ensure data integrity and confidentiality, as well as implementing PII scrubbing in telemetry data to maintain user privacy and comply with regulations.
• • A key technical challenge will be creating robust abstraction layers for essential infrastructure services, such as message brokers and caching mechanisms. This will enable support for multiple backend implementations, including Azure Service Bus, providing flexibility and resilience.
• • Working within an Agile Scrum framework, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, UX/UI designers, and fellow developers. This collaboration is crucial for understanding complex requirements, proposing innovative technical solutions, and actively contributing to critical architectural decisions that shape the future of our platform.
• • You will actively participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, maintainable, and secure code that adheres to Delinea's engineering standards.
• • As a senior member of the team, you will be expected to mentor and provide technical guidance to other engineers. This includes fostering a culture of continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and professional growth within the team, helping to elevate the overall technical capabilities.
