- • Lead the design, implementation, and evolution of a secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud and application infrastructure for Humata Health, a healthcare technology company focused on improving patient outcomes through innovative solutions.
- • Define and own end-to-end architecture for network, cloud, and application security systems across Azure, GCP, and edge services like Cloudflare, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements including HIPAA, SOC 2, and HITRUST.
- • Serve as a technical leader across engineering teams, driving zero-trust networking, secure application design, identity and access management, and resilient distributed systems while guiding DevSecOps practices and secure CI/CD pipelines.
- • Partner with compliance and risk teams to translate regulatory requirements into technical solutions, lead audit readiness efforts, and design observability and incident response architectures for centralized logging, monitoring, and threat detection.
- • Mentor engineering teams, influence stakeholders across product and compliance, and balance security, performance, cost, and developer experience in architectural decisions to enable secure, rapid innovation in a regulated healthcare environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • 7+ years of experience in network, cloud, or application architecture
- • Proven experience designing and implementing large-scale, distributed cloud systems
- • Deep expertise in Azure (including Entra ID) and/or Google Cloud Platform, network architecture (routing, segmentation, VPNs, firewalls, zero-trust models), identity & access management (SSO, MFA, RBAC, federation), and secure application design and API security
- • Strong experience with Cloudflare (WAF, Zero Trust, DNS, DDoS protection)
- • Experience operating in regulated environments (HIPAA, SOC 2, HITRUST)
