  • • Datadog is experiencing significant growth and investment in its channel program, creating a critical need for a Senior Partner Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in developing and expanding our strategic relationships with system integrators, resellers, and managed service providers across Brazil, with a primary focus on driving new customer acquisition, accelerating deal cycles, expanding existing opportunities, and generating incremental revenue for both Datadog and our valued partners.
  • • As a Senior Partner Manager, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of identifying, recruiting, and nurturing a select portfolio of named channel partners. Your success will be measured by your ability to cultivate deep, mutually beneficial relationships that translate into tangible business outcomes.
  • • A core aspect of this role involves articulating the immense value of the Datadog platform and the compelling market opportunity that exists for partners to collaborate with us. You will be a key evangelist, educating partners on how Datadog can empower them to deliver superior solutions to their clients and achieve their own business objectives.
  • • You will proactively generate net-new sales opportunities directly sourced from your channel partners. This requires a strategic approach to understanding partner capabilities and aligning them with Datadog's go-to-market strategies.
  • • A significant portion of your role will involve working collaboratively and closely with your channel partners, as well as Datadog's enterprise sales leaders and individual sellers. This synergy is crucial for accelerating and expanding deals by leveraging the unique value-added activities that our partners bring to the table.
  • • You will be instrumental in identifying and recruiting new strategic channel partners who align with Datadog's growth objectives and possess the potential to significantly contribute to our market expansion.
  • • Enabling and activating these channel partners is paramount. This will involve delivering impactful presentations, executing targeted outbound outreach campaigns, engaging in meaningful in-person interactions, developing comprehensive partnership plans, co-selling alongside partner teams, and facilitating technical enablement sessions to ensure partners are well-equipped to represent and sell Datadog solutions.
  • • You will act as the central point of contact, quarterbacking partner engagement across a multitude of cross-functional teams within Datadog. This includes close collaboration with sales, marketing, legal, procurement, partner solutions architects, technical post-sales support, and other essential departments to ensure seamless partner operations and success.
  • • Regular, structured reviews with partners will be a key responsibility. These sessions are designed to foster accountability, track progress against agreed-upon objectives, and report on critical success metrics, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment.
  • • The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the cloud services and SaaS landscape, with a proven track record of success in partner-facing roles. You should be adept at navigating complex sales cycles, building strong relationships, and driving revenue through indirect channels.
  • • This remote position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact within a rapidly growing technology company, contributing directly to Datadog's strategic channel initiatives in a key market.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 7+ years of experience in partner-facing, quota-carrying business development, strategic alliances, or channel sales within cloud services or SaaS organizations.
  • • Proven ability to drive sales opportunities from partner lead generation to closure, including effective negotiation and long-term partnership building.
  • • Demonstrated capacity to quickly comprehend technical concepts and architectural scenarios and articulate them clearly, both verbally and in writing.
  • • Proficiency in managing premier cloud consulting, managed service, and reseller partners.
  • • Native Portuguese and professional English language skills.
  • • Willingness to travel up to 30-40% of the time.
