- • Senior Platform Engineer responsible for architecting and maintaining the infrastructure foundation that powers NODA AI's autonomous vehicle orchestration platform, enabling rapid and reliable deployment of mission-critical software across diverse environments.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include designing CI/CD pipelines for ROS2-based microservices, implementing container orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes, managing AWS, on-premises, and edge infrastructure, developing automation tools, ensuring DoD IL4/IL5 security compliance, building internal developer tooling, designing observability systems, ensuring disaster recovery, optimizing edge deployments, and supporting field operations.
- • NODA AI is a veteran-owned, venture-backed technology company developing next-generation solutions for autonomous orchestration of unmanned systems across air, sea, land, and space, serving defense, intelligence, and commercial sectors with a focus on innovation, rapid iteration, and collaboration.
- • The role offers the opportunity to work on meaningful technology pushing the boundaries of autonomy, gain deep expertise in secure, compliant infrastructure for mission-critical systems, collaborate across engineering, AI, and field teams, and advance toward leadership roles such as Staff Platform Engineer or Infra & Ops Lead.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of professional experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure automation
- • Expert-level proficiency with Docker containerization and container orchestration concepts
- • Strong experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, ECS, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation/Terraform)
- • Proficiency with CI/CD pipeline design and implementation (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar)
- • Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation)
- • Knowledge of Linux system administration and networking fundamentals
- • Understanding of security best practices for enterprise and government environments
- • Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or similar)
- • Strong scripting abilities in Python, Bash, or similar languages
- • U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance
