- • Day-to-day responsibilities include evolving cloud architecture, building developer tooling and automation, owning Terraform-based infrastructure as code, designing secure event-driven systems, improving observability and reliability, securing CI/CD pipelines, reducing toil through automation, and partnering with engineering teams to align platform capabilities with real-world needs.
- • Pivotal Health is a mission-driven healthtech company building integrated software, data, and service solutions to simplify complex reimbursement workflows and combat systemic underpayment by insurers, helping providers operate with clarity and confidence.
- • The role offers significant ownership and influence over platform maturity, with opportunities to deepen expertise in cloud-native systems, infrastructure as code, observability, security, and scalable architecture while solving impactful problems in healthcare reimbursement.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience in platform, infrastructure, or software engineering roles
- • Strong software engineering foundation with solid coding skills; Python preferred
- • Hands-on experience designing and operating cloud-native systems (GCP preferred)
- • Deep experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, GitHub Actions)
- • Strong understanding of containers, Docker, cloud networking, and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
