đź“‹ Description
- • Senior Platform Engineer at Fyxer Inc., a fast-growing AI Email and Meeting Assistant company that eliminates admin burden for professionals in client-facing roles such as sales, consultants, and recruiters. The role is critical to ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of the platform as the company scales from $0 to $30M+ ARR in under 18 months.
- • Day to day, you will plan and execute high-stakes infrastructure migrations, serve as the last line of defence during incidents by diagnosing and resolving issues to prevent recurrence, analyse error logs and cloud metrics alongside support tickets to identify reliability improvements, build and maintain cloud architecture and scripts that power the product, collaborate with product engineers to review features for reliability before production, and own the reliability standard across your domain to ensure new features don’t break existing functionality.
- • You will join a small, high-ownership platform team led by Founding Engineer Josh Harrison, operating within a pure-play applied AI company backed by notable investors including Marc Benioff, Harry Stebbings, David Singleton, and Madrona. The team values deep technical craftsmanship, rapid learning, and intense focus on solving hard problems in a high-impact environment.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in TypeScript, Google Cloud, and database design while gaining end-to-end ownership of production systems. You’ll sharpen your incident response skills, learn to balance speed with safety in infrastructure changes, and grow into a trusted reliability leader who shapes how the company builds and scales its AI-powered product.
🎯 Requirements
- • Expert-level TypeScript proficiency with ability to diagnose and fix production incidents quickly
- • Deep experience with Google Cloud or equivalent, including deployments, scripting, GitHub workflows, and architectural decision-making
- • Strong database knowledge covering design, optimization, and justification of solutions beyond basic querying
- • Proven production ownership experience: diagnosing, fixing, and preventing recurrence of system issues under pressure
- • Fullstack capability to design and build features alongside product engineers from a reliability perspective
- • Self-driven obsession with learning and technical craft, demonstrated by proactive problem-solving and skill development
🏖️ Benefits
- • Competitive compensation up to £120k/year DOE + equity
- • Hybrid work model: Monday–Thursday in office at Chancery Lane, London; Friday remote
- • Opportunity to work with a high-impact, exceptional team backed by top-tier investors including Marc Benioff and Madrona
- • Direct influence on reliability standards and infrastructure in a fast-scaling AI company with $30M+ ARR
- • Exposure to end-to-end platform ownership including billing, integrations, uptime, and incident response
- • Collaborative culture with regular team lunches and close partnership with founding engineers
