- • Senior Power Engineer responsible for supporting the development and execution of advanced thermal power generation projects across Ameresco’s energy infrastructure portfolio, playing a critical role in shaping project concepts and evaluating technology options for industrial, utility-scale, and behind-the-meter customers.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include translating customer objectives into technically sound power plant concepts, leading technology selection for thermal assets (reciprocating engines, gas turbines, combined cycle, fuel cells), interfacing with OEMs and third-party engineering firms, reviewing designs, establishing OEM relationships, providing input on emissions control and electrical systems, and supporting technical due diligence, cost estimates, and risk assessments.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline
- • Minimum 10 years of industry experience in power generation, energy infrastructure, or industrial energy systems
- • Ability to review confidential US security information
