- • As a Senior Pricing Analyst at Prime Therapeutics, you will play a critical role in shaping the financial strategies that underpin the company’s pharmacy benefit management services, directly contributing to cost savings, improved pricing accuracy, and enhanced value delivery for clients and patients by transforming complex data into actionable financial insights.
- • You will lead sophisticated financial pricing analyses that inform strategic decision-making across internal teams and external partners, ensuring Prime remains competitive and compliant while driving innovation in pharmacy economics through data-driven modeling and expert consultation.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include analyzing pharmacy claims data, average wholesale drug prices (AWP), and other financial datasets to identify trends, profitability drivers, and cost-saving opportunities; developing and refining financial pricing models to monitor performance and support contractual obligations; applying statistical, mathematical, and economic techniques to improve model accuracy; serving as a subject matter expert by educating stakeholders on pricing methodologies and interpreting complex data; creating and recommending financial pricing targets for provider relations and client guarantee management; and collaborating cross-functionally to implement pricing strategies that align with business goals.
- • You will work within Prime Therapeutics’ purpose-driven organization, a pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) committed to connecting care beyond profits, where your analytical expertise will directly support initiatives that improve affordability and access to medications for millions of patients.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in healthcare economics, financial modeling, and pricing strategy within the PBM industry, gaining advanced proficiency in SQL, SAS, Alteryx, R, or Python while influencing high-impact financial decisions and positioning yourself as a trusted advisor in pharmacy economics and value-based care innovation.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in applied math, statistics, engineering, accounting, finance, economics, business, computer sciences, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience; high school diploma or GED required.
- • Minimum of 5 years of work experience in pricing or financial analysis, including at least 3 years specifically in Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM), claims processing, healthcare, or a closely related field.
- • Proven experience using SQL, SAS, Alteryx, R, Python, or similar analytical technologies to manipulate, analyze, and derive insights from large and complex datasets.
- • Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship.
- • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems, interpret intricate financial and clinical data, and communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
