Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the end-to-end design lifecycle for the Customers Area, the SaaS platform that 135,000+ doctors and clinics rely on every day to run their practices. From early-stage discovery through pixel-perfect UI and post-launch optimisation, you will translate complex workflows into intuitive, elegant experiences that save clinicians time and improve patient outcomes.
- • Sit shoulder-to-shoulder with Product Managers, Engineering Leads, Content Designers, and UX Researchers to define product strategy, prioritise features, and craft a roadmap that balances user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility. Your weekly design critiques and quarterly OKR reviews will directly influence what gets built and when.
- • Rapidly prototype and test concepts in Figma, Framer, or code—whichever gets you to validated insights fastest. You will run moderated usability studies, A/B tests, and diary studies with both doctors and clinic administrators across Poland, Spain, Italy, Brazil, and Turkey, turning qualitative feedback and quantitative data into clear design iterations.
- • Champion and evolve our multi-brand design system, ensuring every component you ship is accessible, scalable, and on-brand. You will contribute new patterns, write usage guidelines, and coach engineers on proper implementation so that the system becomes a force multiplier for the entire 20-person Product Design Team.
- • Mentor two to three mid-level designers through weekly 1:1s, design reviews, and pair-design sessions. You will help them sharpen their product thinking, storytelling, and visual craft, while also creating space for them to lead initiatives and present to senior leadership.
- • Act as the voice of the user in every room you enter. Whether you are in a sprint planning meeting or a C-level strategy session, you will bring empathy, evidence, and a clear point of view that keeps patient and doctor needs at the centre of every decision.
- • Drive innovation by staying on top of emerging technologies—AI scribes, voice interfaces, telehealth workflows—and identifying opportunities to integrate them into our product suite in ways that feel natural, trustworthy, and valuable.
- • Represent Docplanner externally: speak at design conferences, publish case studies on our blog, and host meet-ups in Warsaw to share how we design for high-stakes healthcare scenarios at global scale.
- • Measure success obsessively. You will define and track UX KPIs (task success rate, NPS, SUS, time-to-complete) and tie them to business metrics such as subscription upgrades, churn reduction, and support-ticket deflection, ensuring design impact is visible and celebrated.
- • Foster an inclusive, feedback-rich culture where critique is kind, direct, and focused on elevating the work. You will facilitate workshops, retros, and design sprints that bring together diverse perspectives from engineering, marketing, customer success, and medical advisory boards.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of product design experience with a portfolio that demonstrates end-to-end ownership of complex B2B or B2C SaaS products
- • Expert-level proficiency in Figma and a proven ability to build, maintain, and evangelise scalable design systems
- • Demonstrated experience planning and conducting user research (moderated usability testing, surveys, diary studies) and translating findings into actionable design decisions
- • Strong visual and interaction design skills with a solid grasp of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and responsive design principles
- • Excellent storytelling and stakeholder-management skills; comfortable presenting to C-level executives and defending design rationale with data
- • Fluent English for daily collaboration; Polish proficiency nice-to-have but not required
🏖️ Benefits
- • 100 % remote-friendly within Poland with a budget for home-office setup and quarterly co-working stipend
- • 26 days of paid vacation plus Polish public holidays and an additional "health day" each quarter
- • Private medical insurance, multisport card, and annual wellness allowance for mental-health apps or therapy
- • Annual personal-growth budget (conferences, courses, books) and paid speaking opportunities at leading design events
- • Stock-option plan that turns your impact into real ownership in a profitable, fast-growing company
