• As a Senior Product Designer at 15Five, you will be instrumental in defining product direction, collaborating closely with Product Managers and Engineering partners to translate complex business needs into intuitive, scalable, and elegant design solutions. You will own the end-to-end design process, from initial concept and user research to high-fidelity prototyping and final implementation, ensuring that our platform not only meets but exceeds user expectations.
• Your responsibilities will encompass a broad range of design activities. You will conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to deeply understand our users' pain points, needs, and behaviors. This research will inform your design decisions and ensure that we are building products that truly solve real-world problems for HR leaders and managers.
• You will translate insights from user research and business requirements into wireframes, user flows, mockups, and interactive prototypes. Your ability to visualize complex systems and user journeys will be critical in communicating design concepts and gaining alignment across teams.
• You will be responsible for designing new features and enhancing existing ones within the 15Five platform, which includes modules for 360° performance reviews, engagement surveys, goal tracking, manager coaching and training, and ongoing feedback tools like guided 1-on-1s and check-ins. A key focus will be on leveraging generative AI to create more intelligent and impactful user experiences.
• You will champion user-centered design principles throughout the product development lifecycle, advocating for the user and ensuring that design considerations are integrated from the outset.
• Collaboration is at the heart of this role. You will work closely with Product Managers to define product strategy and roadmaps, and with Engineers to ensure the technical feasibility and high-quality implementation of your designs. You will participate in agile development processes, contributing to sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
• You will contribute to and help maintain our design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across the platform. This includes creating and documenting UI components, patterns, and guidelines.
• You will have the opportunity to mentor junior designers and share your expertise, fostering a culture of design excellence within the team.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Product Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end product design expertise, including user research, UX/UI design, and prototyping.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Experience designing for SaaS products, preferably within the B2B or enterprise space.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, usability best practices, and modern design patterns.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and influence stakeholders.
• Experience working in agile development environments and collaborating effectively with product managers and engineers.
