• As a Senior Product Designer, you will be an integral part of a growing, central design team embedded within the product and engineering organization. Your primary focus will be on solving complex user problems through thoughtful, user-centered design, actively participating in discovery, delivery, and iteration phases to craft intuitive experiences that significantly improve how schools operate. A key aspect of this role involves elevating the standard of design quality throughout the organization and ensuring that user needs are consistently prioritized in all decision-making processes. You will collaborate closely with Product teams to meticulously define problems, formulate hypotheses, and rigorously validate potential solutions through iterative design processes, ensuring that the solutions are not only effective but also aligned with user needs and business objectives.
• A significant part of your day-to-day will involve developing and maintaining a profound understanding of user needs, overarching business objectives, and the specific nuances of the education sector. This deep comprehension will be the foundation for creating design solutions that are not just functional but truly impactful. You will be responsible for planning, conducting, and analyzing both quantitative and qualitative user research. This data-driven approach will inform your design decisions, ensuring that they are grounded in evidence and user feedback. Translating complex workflows and intricate requirements into simple, effective, and scalable user experiences will be a core responsibility, making sophisticated processes accessible and manageable for users. You will also be tasked with designing and prototyping wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity UI mockups. These artifacts will serve as crucial tools for effectively communicating your design ideas and concepts to various stakeholders and cross-functional teams, ensuring clarity and alignment.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience in user-centered design processes, encompassing research, ideation, prototyping, and final execution.
• Proven experience working collaboratively in agile environments with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and marketing.
• Demonstrated strong decision-making skills, adaptability in dynamic situations, and the ability to influence and guide teams towards effective design solutions.
• A proactive and self-motivated approach to learning and applying new design methodologies and best practices.
• A curious and collaborative mindset, with the ability to think critically and adapt quickly, thriving in fast-paced environments.
• Experience working effectively within remote team structures.
