- • Design and deliver end-to-end digital product experiences for web and mobile platforms within Tide’s Admin Services team, covering Bookkeeping, Taxes, Insights, Invoicing, Payroll, and Filings across UK, India, Germany, and France.
- • Embed within cross-functional squads to collaborate throughout the entire product lifecycle—from discovery and research to launch and iterative improvements.
- • Conduct and lead moderated user research sessions, analyze usage analytics, and leverage existing insights to deeply understand the needs of SME customers globally.
- • Translate early-stage prototypes into high-fidelity, production-ready designs using the Tide Design System to ensure consistency, scalability, and world-class user experiences.
- • Apply strong product thinking and visual design skills to solve complex problems, balancing user needs with business goals and technical constraints.
- • Communicate design rationale clearly and persuasively to stakeholders, articulating the "why" behind design decisions to align teams and drive impact.
- • Partner closely with product managers and engineers to troubleshoot technical implementation challenges, ensuring designs meet performance, accessibility, and quality standards.
- • Contribute to evolving Tide’s design process by estimating design effort, tracking progress against OKRs, and measuring how design improvements impact member outcomes.
- • Advocate for accessibility and inclusivity in all design outputs, ensuring products are usable by diverse global audiences with varying abilities and contexts.
- • Maintain and enhance the Tide Design System by proposing updates, documenting patterns, and ensuring design consistency across all product surfaces.
- • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in product design, applying data-driven insights to continuously improve user experiences.
- • Work within a flexible model that supports both remote and in-office collaboration, with opportunities for in-person team gatherings at Tide’s technology centers in Serbia and other global locations.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years of experience designing digital products for web and mobile platforms in a product design or UX role
- • Portfolio or case studies demonstrating strong product thinking, user experience, interaction design, visual design, and measurable impact
- • Proven ability to run moderated user research sessions and interpret qualitative and quantitative data
- • Experience designing complex financial or administrative products and collaborating effectively with product and engineering teams
- • Demonstrable proficiency in Figma
- • Strong understanding of Design Systems, accessibility standards, and inclusive design principles
