📋 Description

• As a Senior Product Designer at Monzo Referrals Inc., you will be instrumental in shaping the future of digital banking by crafting intuitive, seamless, and customer-centric experiences that resonate with millions of users.

• A core aspect of this role involves thinking in systems, ensuring that all designed experiences are cohesive, end-to-end, and align with Monzo's overarching design principles and brand identity.
• You will leverage your expertise in native app design, specifically for iOS and Android platforms, to create experiences that are not only functional but also delightful and fluid, expertly balancing platform conventions with Monzo's unique design language.
• This role demands a high standard of design quality, which you will uphold through precise UI execution, thoughtful UX writing, and a keen awareness of accessibility best practices to ensure inclusivity and a positive user experience for all.
• You will foster strong, collaborative partnerships with engineers, researchers, and product managers, working closely with them to ensure the successful and high-quality delivery of exceptional product features.
• Beyond individual contributions, you will act as a champion for design excellence and continuous improvement within the team, potentially through mentoring junior designers, refining team processes, or proactively tackling challenging design problems.
• You will be a key player in defining and refining complex user flows, ensuring clarity and ease of use even in intricate financial management scenarios.
• Contributing to and evolving Monzo's established design system will be an integral part of your responsibilities, ensuring consistency and efficiency across the product.

• You will be expected to balance strategic vision with meticulous execution, ensuring that every design decision serves a clear purpose and contributes to the overall product strategy.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design solutions for native mobile applications (iOS/Android).
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex user problems and research insights into intuitive, scalable, and user-centric designs.
• Experience thinking in systems and designing cohesive, end-to-end user experiences.
• Strong understanding of native app design principles, platform conventions (iOS/Android), and the ability to balance them with a consistent design system.
• Excellent collaboration skills, with a track record of working effectively with product managers, engineers, and researchers.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, define appropriate design processes, and adapt to evolving project requirements.
