📋 Description

• Design and deliver end-to-end digital product experiences for web and mobile platforms within Tide’s Admin Services team, covering Bookkeeping, Taxes, Insights, Invoicing, Payroll, and Filings across UK, India, Germany, and France.
• Embed within cross-functional squads to collaborate throughout the entire product lifecycle—from discovery and research to launch and iterative improvements.
• Conduct and lead moderated user research sessions, analyze usage analytics, and leverage existing insights to deeply understand the needs of SME customers.
• Translate early-stage prototypes into high-fidelity, production-ready mock-ups using a user-centered design process that prioritizes clarity, usability, and accessibility.
• Actively contribute to and uphold the Tide Design System to ensure consistency, scalability, and a world-class user experience across all products and markets.
• Partner closely with product managers and engineers to define requirements, estimate design effort, track progress against OKRs, and measure the impact of design decisions on member outcomes.
• Communicate design rationale effectively by storytelling the ‘why’ behind decisions, aligning stakeholders around user needs and business goals.
• Apply pragmatic trade-off judgment to balance speed of delivery with quality, ensuring products meet performance standards and technical feasibility.
• Advocate for accessibility and inclusive design practices to ensure products serve a diverse global user base with varying abilities and backgrounds.
• Collaborate with the broader Design practice to share knowledge, refine processes, and elevate the overall quality of Tide’s product design standards.
• Use Figma as the primary tool for wireframing, prototyping, and collaborating with cross-functional teams on design deliverables.
• Support international expansion by designing localized experiences that adapt to regional regulatory, cultural, and financial contexts while maintaining brand consistency.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of experience designing digital products for web and mobile platforms in a product design or UX role
• Portfolio or case studies demonstrating strong product thinking, user experience, interaction design, visual design, and measurable impact
• Proven ability to run moderated user research sessions and derive insights from analytics
• Demonstrable proficiency in Figma
• Experience designing complex financial or administrative products and collaborating with engineering and product teams
• Understanding of Design Systems and accessibility standards
