📋 Description

• Senior Product Designer leading design for Paddle's Core Experience team, responsible for foundational seller experiences, sign-up, onboarding, design system, and overall Seller Experience to ensure a coherent product feel across all touchpoints.
• Own end-to-end design of foundational seller experiences, lead the design system from vision to adoption, partner horizontally with product teams to maintain consistency, contribute to integration and AI experiences, set quality standards, mentor designers, and use research and storytelling to drive alignment and outcomes.
• Part of a cross-functional team at Paddle, a Merchant of Record simplifying payments infrastructure for over 5,000 software sellers globally, backed by KKR, FTV Capital, Kindred, Notion, and 83North, operating with values of transparency, collaboration, and respect.
• Opportunity to shape scalable design systems, influence AI-integrated experiences, advance UI craft and systems thinking, mentor peers, and grow through learning funds, training, and ownership of high-impact foundational work in a B2B SaaS and fintech context.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong portfolio with exceptional UI craft, showcasing end-to-end product design, problem-solving, interaction design, and visual clarity in complex domains
• Proven experience owning, building, and maintaining design systems, including component design, documentation, governance, and driving adoption across teams
• Curiosity about AI in design and products, with ability to critically assess where AI delivers real user value and translate it into usable experiences
• Comfortable working horizontally across teams, aligning stakeholders, balancing competing needs, and creating consistency without slowing delivery
• Clear and confident communication of design decisions, with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
• Self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, able to own work from discovery to delivery with minimal oversight
• Solid understanding of implementation constraints, responsive design, accessibility, and effective collaboration with engineers
• Strong UI design and prototyping skills using Figma, Claude Code (or similar tools)
• Experience designing high-scale consumer-facing or B2B products, preferably in SaaS or fintech, with onboarding journeys or foundational/platform design (a plus)
