- • As a Senior Product Designer focused on the Core Platform at Camunda, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the foundational experiences that technical teams rely on to operate, manage, and extend our enterprise-grade agentic automation platform. This is a unique opportunity to influence the very heart of Camunda, ensuring that a powerful, highly scalable system feels seamless and intuitive for enterprise adoption.
- • You will be deeply embedded within cross-functional teams, working in close partnership with Product Management and Engineering. Your responsibilities will extend beyond individual feature design to encompass a holistic view of end-to-end user journeys across the entire platform. This requires a strategic mindset and the ability to connect disparate experiences into a cohesive and efficient whole.
- • A significant aspect of your role will involve contributing to the evolution of AI and agentic capabilities within our Core workflows. This means designing for complex interactions where trust, control, and user understanding are paramount. You will be at the forefront of defining how businesses can leverage AI agents responsibly and effectively for critical processes.
- • You will have frequent opportunities to validate your designs and iterate based on feedback from our passionate customer base and internal users. This direct engagement with stakeholders is crucial for ensuring that Camunda remains at the cutting edge of enterprise agentic automation and that our platform meets the evolving needs of the market.
- • Your work will directly impact the speed and ease with which our customers can adopt and derive value from Camunda. By simplifying complex workflows and enhancing usability, you will help slash time-to-value from months to days, boost operational efficiency, and elevate the overall customer experience.
- • This role demands a strong UX craft, with a focus on designing for technical users. You will need to think beyond static screens and consider the dynamic workflows and journeys that developers, operators, and administrators undertake when interacting with our platform.
- • You will be expected to bring a high degree of ownership and momentum to your work. This means proactively identifying opportunities, driving progress, and fostering strong collaborative relationships with your PM and Engineering counterparts. Taking initiative and seeing projects through to completion is essential.
- • Candid communication and a well-articulated design rationale are critical. You will need to clearly explain your design decisions, backed by user research, data, and strategic thinking, to a variety of stakeholders.
- • A validation mindset is key. You will be responsible for ensuring that designs are rigorously tested and refined through customer and internal feedback loops, always with an outcome-oriented approach. The goal is to deliver solutions that demonstrably solve user problems and achieve business objectives.
- • Experience in hands-on AI/agentic experience design is highly desirable. This includes understanding how to design effective guardrails, provide users with appropriate levels of control, and build trust in AI-driven processes.
- • You will contribute to the strategic vision for the Core Platform, ensuring that it remains a robust, scalable, and user-friendly foundation for Camunda's expanding suite of products and services.

- • The Senior Product Designer will champion user-centered design principles throughout the product development lifecycle, from initial concept and research to detailed design and post-launch iteration.
- • You will collaborate with UX researchers to define research questions, participate in user interviews and usability testing, and translate findings into actionable design improvements.
- • The role involves advocating for design best practices within the engineering and product teams, fostering a shared understanding of user needs and design principles.
- • You will be responsible for creating and maintaining design documentation, including user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups, ensuring clarity and consistency across the platform.
- • Contributing to the development and evolution of our design system will be an important part of ensuring consistency and efficiency across the Core Platform and other Camunda products.
- • You will work on challenging problems that require innovative solutions, pushing the boundaries of what's possible in enterprise automation and AI integration.

🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience designing complex enterprise B2B software, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- • Proven ability to design for technical users, focusing on workflows and journeys rather than just individual screens.
- • Demonstrated experience in UX strategy and systems thinking, with the ability to connect disparate experiences across a platform.
- • High degree of ownership and momentum, with a track record of taking initiative and driving progress in close partnership with Product Management and Engineering.
- • Candid communication skills and the ability to articulate a strong design rationale, supported by user insights and data.
- • A validation mindset, with experience in customer and internal user validation, and a strong outcome orientation.
- • Hands-on experience in AI/agentic experience design, including designing guardrails, control mechanisms, and evaluating trust and quality.
- • Proficiency with Figma or similar design and prototyping tools.
- • Ability and/or willingness to use Camunda's product.
- • Self-organized and effective in a remote work environment.
