- • As a Senior Product Designer at Voize Inc., you will play a pivotal role in shaping AI-powered tools that reduce administrative burdens for frontline healthcare workers, directly contributing to the company’s mission of giving nurses up to 30% more time for patient care by transforming complex clinical workflows into intuitive, human-centered mobile experiences.
- • You will own end-to-end design for core product areas, leading discovery, ideation, prototyping, and implementation while collaborating closely with product, engineering, and clinical stakeholders to ensure designs are both innovative and feasible in high-pressure, real-world care environments.
- • You will conduct and synthesize user research through on-site visits, interviews, and usability testing with nurses and care staff across diverse technical skill levels, translating deep insights into clear problem statements, UX principles, and design hypotheses that drive product direction.
- • You will design cohesive, end-to-end user journeys—not just individual screens—creating production-ready UI in Figma that accounts for mobile constraints, accessibility, and varying device contexts (iOS and Android), while maintaining visual and interaction consistency across the product ecosystem.
- • You will advocate for user needs throughout the development lifecycle, partnering with engineers to ensure design fidelity during implementation, using AI-assisted tools to accelerate exploration without compromising craft, and iterating based on real-world feedback and adoption metrics.
- • You will contribute to and evolve Voize’s design system by identifying cross-product patterns, creating reusable components, and establishing UX principles that promote consistency, scalability, and long-term maintainability of the platform.
- • You will operate with high autonomy and accountability in a fast-paced startup environment, embracing ambiguity, making pragmatic trade-offs between speed and quality, and demonstrating ownership over outcomes that impact user adoption, retention, and satisfaction.
- • You will grow professionally by tackling meaningful challenges at the intersection of AI, healthcare, and design, gaining expertise in designing for regulated, high-stakes environments while contributing to a product with measurable social impact trusted by over 1,500 care facilities and 100,000+ nurses.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience designing mobile-first product experiences end-to-end, preferably in healthcare, SaaS, or workflow tools, with a portfolio demonstrating impact on user adoption, efficiency, or satisfaction.
- • Strong proficiency in Figma and experience using modern AI tools to enhance research, ideation, and prototyping workflows.
- • Demonstrated ability to lead or significantly contribute to large-scale design initiatives (e.g., product redesigns) and drive them toward measurable outcomes.
- • Fluency in both English and German, enabling effective collaboration with German-speaking users in research and testing, as well as seamless communication within the international team.
- • Deep understanding of mobile design patterns (iOS and Android) and the ability to simplify complex, real-world workflows for users with varying levels of technical comfort.
- • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design intent clearly to engineers and product managers to minimize ambiguity during implementation.
