📋 Description

• Senior Product Designer role at Sequence, a fast-growing AI-powered revenue platform processing $1bn+ in annual invoice volume, helping modern finance teams replace spreadsheets and legacy systems with intuitive software.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include designing AI-first product experiences for billing, invoicing, collections, and finance agent workflows; partnering with product and engineering from discovery to shipping; prototyping rapidly and testing ideas with stakeholders and customers; exploring how agentic AI workflows behave—what they automate, when they ask for input, and how they explain reasoning; moving between broad concepts and tactical deliverables like sketching finance copilot experiences or refining invoice approval interactions; contributing to design reviews and helping build a strong design culture.
• Sequence is a small, high-leverage team founded by repeat entrepreneurs, backed by 645 Ventures, a16z, and exceptional founders and CFOs from companies like Decagon, Klaviyo, and Wise; the company has achieved 10x ARR growth and serves high-growth clients including Cognition, incident.io, MoonPay, and 100+ others.
• The role offers the opportunity to shape the future of AI-powered finance automation as one of the first designers, with direct customer access, real ownership, and immediate product impact; you’ll grow alongside the company while doing meaningful work in ambiguity, exploring new interaction models, and making AI agents feel powerful and trustworthy.

🎯 Requirements

• Senior Product Designer with approximately 5 years of experience
• Experience shipping B2B products, preferably in finance, B2B, or workflow-heavy domains
• Comfortable in early-stage environments and excited to shape both product and process
• Interest in AI tools (e.g., Cursor, Midjourney, Figma Make, Claude Artifacts) and curiosity about designing with and for AI
• Ability to embrace ambiguity and explore new interaction patterns rather than refining existing ones
• Prioritization of speed and impact over extensive analysis and research
