- • Senior Product Designer, Retention at Covey Technologies, Inc. (DoorDash) focused on turning DoorDash from something people try into something they rely on by designing intuitive, system-oriented experiences that drive long-term customer engagement and retention.
- • Day to day: Craft experiences that make DoorDash feel worth it every time; design delightful savings and rewards programs; work in scrappy, real-world problem spaces to ship improvements fast; blend high-craft with real outcomes using AI to personalize and accelerate impact; partner closely with Product, Data Science, and Engineering to test, learn, and scale retention initiatives.
- • About the team/company: Part of the Consumer Growth team within DoorDash’s Growth Design team, which shapes end-to-end experiences to help people discover and keep choosing DoorDash; works cross-functionally with Product, Data Science, Engineering, and business teams to build affordability, convenience, and retention programs at scale; values high craft, high ownership, and solving problems by challenging assumptions.

🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of product design experience with a portfolio demonstrating high-quality work and real customer journey improvements
- • Proven track record of leading new initiatives and achieving success in team environments
- • Strong storytelling ability to communicate complex problems simply with clear rationale and tradeoffs
- • First-principles problem solver who challenges assumptions and experiments with new approaches
- • Craftsperson mindset with meticulous attention to detail and commitment to elevating overall experience
