Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Join Kernel Medical Devices, Inc., a rapidly growing AI-native company revolutionizing enterprise RevOps with AI-powered company data for CRMs. We are at a pivotal stage, having secured $14M in Series A funding from prominent VCs and industry leaders, and are poised for significant growth from $3M to $30M ARR.
- • As a Senior Product Engineer, you will be a critical T-shaped individual with a strong backend engineering focus, playing a pivotal role in shaping our product and infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with our product and engineering teams to conceptualize, design, and implement user-facing features, ensuring we ship at a rapid pace while maintaining and scaling our existing infrastructure.
- • This role offers a unique opportunity to own projects end-to-end, from initial ideation through to final deployment. You will be instrumental in defining how we build products and infrastructure, contributing directly to the company's scaling efforts.
- • Your responsibilities will encompass the full software development lifecycle, including designing and developing innovative product features that directly enhance user workflows and drive business value. You will be a key contributor to delivering exceptional user experiences by collaborating effectively with our design, product, and fellow engineering teams.
- • You will be expected to write and maintain clean, reliable, and scalable code across the entire technology stack, ensuring the robustness and efficiency of our platform. A significant part of your role will involve ensuring the performance and reliability of our large-scale data operations, which process billions of tokens daily.
- • To enhance developer velocity and minimize manual effort, you will actively automate workflows and processes. This includes supporting integrations with various CRMs and third-party APIs, ensuring seamless data flow and connectivity for our users.
- • You will also participate actively in strategic roadmap discussions, bringing your technical insights and expertise to help shape the future direction of our products and platform.
- • Kernel operates on an intentionally simple yet massive-scale architecture: one database, one queue. Our queue processes a daily volume comparable to the entire Visa network's transactions, and we process over 7 billion tokens a day with 1.8 million agents running daily. This minimalist approach is built for extreme scale, and you will be instrumental in maintaining and evolving it.
- • We are looking for an individual who takes initiative, adapts quickly to new challenges, and communicates with clarity and precision. In our small, fast-moving team environment, you will be empowered to make decisions and ship code autonomously, driving progress and innovation.
- • This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic startup environment, enjoys tackling complex technical challenges, and is eager to make a significant impact on a growing company. You will work directly with the founders to scale the systems that power enterprise AI, gaining invaluable experience and exposure.
- • While not a strict requirement, familiarity with AWS and Kubernetes will be highly beneficial as you contribute to our cloud infrastructure and deployment strategies.
- • You will be part of a dedicated team of around 30 people, including 7 engineers and 1 Product Manager, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. You will have the opportunity to learn from and contribute alongside experienced engineers and product leaders.
- • We are committed to supporting our team members, offering visa sponsorship and relocation assistance for exceptional candidates moving to London, ensuring a smooth transition for those joining us from abroad.
