• Anthuria is at the forefront of revolutionizing the skilled nursing facility sector through cutting-edge AI innovation. We are dedicated to transforming how nurses and operators manage critical healthcare information, leveraging advanced AI agents to distill vast amounts of clinical notes into clear, actionable insights. These insights are designed to directly enhance patient care, optimize reimbursement processes, and ensure robust compliance. Established only a few months ago and fortified by a family office with extensive healthcare expertise, Anthuria has rapidly achieved significant traction, with deployments in 180 facilities across more than 10 states and a growing base of paying customers.
• As a Senior Product Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in architecting and building comprehensive full-stack solutions that form the backbone of our innovative platform. Your responsibilities will span our entire technology stack, utilizing Python, React, and AWS to deliver high-quality features. You will be instrumental in developing complex web applications, establishing robust CI/CD pipelines, and implementing sophisticated cloud monitoring systems. A key aspect of this role involves leading projects from their initial concept through to full-scale deployment, encompassing frontend, backend, and infrastructure layers.
• A core focus of your work will be crafting high-leverage, intuitive products that simplify complex underlying workflows. You will design and ship features that feel seamless and effortless for users, even when dealing with intricate healthcare operations. Your design philosophy will prioritize reducing cognitive load, eliminating unnecessary steps, and empowering nurses and operators to complete critical tasks with speed and confidence, all within the demanding realities of skilled nursing environments.
• You will be tasked with navigating the complexities of healthcare systems and stringent data requirements. This includes designing and implementing solutions that integrate seamlessly with Electronic Health Records (EHRs) while rigorously adhering to healthcare regulations such as HIPAA, ensuring the privacy and security of sensitive patient data.
• Collaboration is central to our success. You will work closely with internal teams, including product managers, designers, and fellow engineers, as well as directly with our clients – nurses and operators on the front lines. This cross-functional engagement will involve translating domain-specific challenges into effective technical solutions and communicating complex technical concepts clearly to a diverse range of stakeholders, ensuring alignment and shared understanding.
• As an early and integral member of our engineering team, you will be instrumental in upholding and establishing engineering best practices. You will help set technical standards, define architectural patterns, and build scalable foundations that will support our rapid growth. Your experience in establishing engineering processes that effectively balance the need for speed with long-term maintainability will be invaluable.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience architecting and building full-stack solutions using Python, React, and AWS, with a strong understanding of complex web applications, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud monitoring systems.
• Experience leading projects from concept to scale across frontend, backend, and infrastructure layers.
• Demonstrated ability to design and ship intuitive, user-centric products that reduce cognitive load and streamline complex workflows.
• Familiarity with healthcare systems, EHR integration, and compliance with regulations like HIPAA.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate domain-specific challenges into technical solutions and effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience in establishing engineering best practices, architectural patterns, and scalable foundations for growing organizations.
