📋 Description

• As a Senior Product Engineer, Agents at RevenueCat, you will be at the forefront of building AI-powered systems that transform how developers understand and grow their subscription revenue, directly impacting hundreds of thousands of developers and millions of end-users worldwide.
• You will design, build, and ship agentic features across RevenueCat’s ecosystem—expanding the capabilities of our AI assistant from Slack into the dashboard and API—enabling developers to interact with their subscription data through natural language, experiment analysis, and real-time debugging.
• Your work will focus on creating reliable, high-quality AI interactions by owning prompt engineering, context management, evaluation, and tool integrations that connect the agent to paywalls, experiments, customer data, charts, and third-party services.
• You will collaborate closely with the CEO and Head of Product, Platform to shape the long-term vision of agentic systems at RevenueCat, helping define what ‘good’ AI product engineering looks like in a fast-moving, innovation-driven environment.
• You’ll operate with significant autonomy in a remote-first, values-driven culture that prioritizes shipping, customer obsession, and ownership—where your ability to experiment rapidly and learn from user feedback will be more valued than perfect documentation.
• This role offers a unique opportunity to grow as a product-minded engineer in the emerging field of agentic systems, gaining deep expertise in LLM orchestration, AI evaluation, and product-led AI development while contributing to a platform used by over 40% of new subscription apps and processing $10B+ in annual purchase volume.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of software or product engineering experience with a proven track record of shipping meaningful features to users.
• Hands-on experience building systems around LLMs—not just prompting—including tool use, context management, evaluation, and orchestration.
• Strong programming skills to ensure the reliability and correctness of agent outputs, with the ability to read, debug, and improve code that interacts with AI models.
• Product leadership mindset: you can evaluate agent conversations for quality, identify shortcomings, and implement improvements that enhance user experience.
• Bias toward shipping: you prefer getting working solutions in front of users quickly over perfecting designs in isolation.
• Self-directed and comfortable operating with high autonomy and minimal process, thriving in environments where ownership and initiative are expected.
