📋 Description

• Partner with a small team of engineers and designers to ideate, build, test, and scale high-impact features for BeReal’s mobile application.
• Use a combination of analytics and user research to identify user motivations, uncover pain points, and drive product improvements grounded in real behavior.
• Own the definition and evolution of short-term and long-term product roadmaps in alignment with BeReal’s mission of authenticity and global scaling.
• Define and take full ownership of key product metrics, monitoring performance and iterating to drive meaningful growth and engagement.
• Contribute directly to high-level strategic decisions alongside the CEO and leadership team, shaping the future direction of a global social network with 40M+ monthly active users.
• Translate product vision into actionable plans, balancing rapid experimentation with sustainable, scalable product development.
• Prototype features quickly to validate hypotheses, then refine into polished, user-centric experiences with a strong intuitive grasp of UI/UX principles.
• Utilize Figma to create and iterate on basic design mockups, collaborating closely with designers to ensure alignment on user flows and visual language.
• Work autonomously across functions—engineering, design, data, and operations—with minimal oversight, taking initiative to unblock progress and deliver results.
• Maintain deep familiarity with B2C mobile app ecosystems, leveraging industry insights and user behavior trends to inform product decisions.
• Communicate clearly and persuasively across technical and non-technical stakeholders to align teams around product priorities and outcomes.
• Ensure all product initiatives reinforce BeReal’s core value of authenticity, avoiding features that compromise user trust or encourage curated content.
• Continuously monitor competitive landscape and emerging social media trends to identify opportunities for differentiation and growth.
• Collaborate with operations and customer support teams to understand user feedback loops and integrate insights into product iterations.
• Drive A/B testing frameworks and interpret results to validate assumptions and prioritize feature rollouts based on empirical evidence.
• Maintain a hands-on approach to product development, from initial concept through post-launch analysis and optimization.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven track record of building meaningful B2C mobile apps
• Hyper-analytical mindset with expertise in product metrics, data-driven decision-making, and hypothesis testing
• Fluency in both French and English
• Basic design skills in Figma
• High autonomy and drive to lead initiatives with minimal supervision
• Intuitive understanding of UI/UX principles
