- • Lead the Analytics Engineering team and own the end-to-end lifecycle of data and reporting products, serving as the functional lead for the squad’s output and ensuring technical roadmap aligns with business needs.
- • Drive the Analytics Engineering Roadmap by managing the backlog, leading sprint ceremonies, and focusing the team on highest-leverage modeling work using dbt and Snowflake.
- • Define Data as a Product by owning requirement development for analytics layers, ensuring high standards for uptime, documentation, and usability of data assets.
- • Standardize Business Logic by driving consistent data definitions across the organization, ensuring metrics are defined once and used everywhere.
- • Support QA and Data Validation by acting as a final gate for quality, performing and coordinating QA on new data models and reports to maintain data integrity.
- • Perform Exploratory Analysis to validate assumptions, investigate discrepancies, and assess impact of new data models on business KPIs.
- • Own the 'Front-End' Data Portfolio by leading design, UX, and strategy for internal and external reporting suites (Tableau/Looker), defining visualization and consumption standards.
- • Operationalize Data via Reverse ETL by overseeing integration of analytics data into business systems (e.g., Salesforce, Customer.io) via Data Contracts for reliable and resilient integrations.
- • Collaborate Across Product Squads as the 'voice of data' during upstream product development to ensure new features support robust downstream analytics.
