Full Job Description

đź“‹ Description

  • • Own the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for Binti’s Licensing module, the flagship product that powers nearly half of the U.S. child welfare system’s family licensing processes.
  • • Translate complex needs of social workers, agency leadership, prospective foster/adoptive families, and kinship caregivers into a clear multi-year vision and actionable quarterly roadmaps that prioritize impact and equity.
  • • Drive key metrics including families licensed per year, time to approval, applicant drop-off rates, social worker time saved, and equity in approval outcomes across demographic groups.
  • • Identify and lead the integration of AI-driven capabilities into licensing workflows—such as automated document review, intelligent form pre-fill, draft home study narrative generation, and smart caseload prioritization—while ensuring responsible, ethical, and auditable deployment.
  • • Rapidly prototype new features and workflow improvements using AI tools (Lovable, Claude, Cursor, v0) to validate concepts with real users within days, not weeks, and scale only what proves valuable.
  • • Conduct regular field visits to shadow social workers, supervisors, and families as they navigate the licensing process to ground product decisions in deep, firsthand user empathy.
  • • Lead the expansion of Licensing’s configurability to support diverse state and county regulations without fragmenting the product experience or increasing operational burden on engineering or customer success teams.
  • • Partner closely with Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, and Design teams to align execution with strategic goals, ensuring seamless cross-functional delivery of product increments.
  • • Balance tradeoffs between platform-wide scalability and customer-specific requirements, prioritizing simplicity without sacrificing necessary customization for regulatory compliance.
  • • Communicate product vision, progress, and outcomes clearly to executives, agency partners, and frontline staff, adapting language and detail level to each audience’s needs.
  • • Champion Binti’s mission by ensuring every product decision advances the goal of reducing family separation and increasing safe, stable homes for children.
  • • Actively use AI tools daily as part of your core workflow—not just for output, but for research, analysis, synthesis, and communication—to elevate productivity and innovation.
  • • Maintain a relentless focus on user-centered design and accessibility, ensuring the product remains intuitive and inclusive for non-technical caregivers and under-resourced agencies.
  • • Serve as the primary product owner for Licensing, accountable for its performance, growth, and evolution as Binti expands into adjacent social service domains.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in high-growth B2B or enterprise SaaS environments
  • • Demonstrated experience scaling complex, regulated, or government-facing software products
  • • Proven track record of leveraging AI tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor, Lovable, v0) daily in product development workflows
  • • Strong background in user research and translating qualitative insights into product improvements
  • • Experience balancing configurability with platform cohesion in multi-tenant, multi-regulatory software
  • • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with diverse audiences, including executives, frontline workers, and end users

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Above-market compensation package including salary and equity
  • • 99% of medical, dental, vision, and life insurance premiums covered for employee and dependents
  • • 16 weeks of paid parental bonding leave for newborn or newly placed infants
  • • $5,000 annual bonus for volunteering as a CASA (court-appointed special advocate)
  • • $2,500 annual reimbursement for learning and development, including conferences and training
  • • 4 weeks of paid sabbatical after 4 years of service
