Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Serve as Dandelion Health’s first dedicated marketing hire, building the marketing engine from the ground up across content, product launches, field presence, and thought leadership.
- • Own the development and refinement of Dandelion’s messaging framework, translating a complex multimodal clinical AI data platform into compelling narratives for pharma, biotech, and health system audiences.
- • Lead go-to-market strategy for new product and use-case launches in close partnership with product and commercial teams, ensuring alignment across technical and business stakeholders.
- • Create, manage, and maintain all sales collateral including one-pagers, case studies, demo scripts, and pitch decks tailored to life sciences buyers and clinical decision-makers.
- • Build and execute a comprehensive content calendar spanning LinkedIn, blog posts, scientific communications, newsletters, and whitepapers targeting both business and technical audiences.
- • Collaborate directly with the CEO to develop, amplify, and distribute his thought leadership across digital channels, positioning Dandelion as a trusted voice in clinical AI.
- • Commission, edit, and oversee external content creators to produce high-quality materials that bridge scientific rigor with commercial appeal.
- • Own Dandelion’s presence at industry conferences, clinical AI summits, and life sciences events—from selecting events and managing logistics to coordinating speaker submissions and post-event follow-up.
- • Proactively identify high-leverage event and PR opportunities by tracking the healthcare AI and life sciences calendar, and secure media pitches and speaking engagements.
- • Manage the marketing operations calendar, coordinating inputs from product, engineering, and clinical teams to ensure consistent, timely execution across all initiatives.
- • Leverage AI tools as a core part of the workflow for content generation, competitive monitoring, event discovery, and performance reporting.
- • Work with an external brand agency to maintain brand consistency across all externally produced materials while owning all other marketing functions internally.
- • Operate as a solo marketing lead while effectively coordinating cross-functionally across a small, mission-driven team with limited resources.
- • Translate highly technical clinical data offerings (structured EMR, unstructured notes, DICOM images, video, waveforms) into accessible, persuasive stories for non-technical buyers.
- • Maintain deep awareness of the healthcare AI landscape, including clinical trial design, data privacy regulations, and the needs of health systems and pharmaceutical partners.
- • Balance strategic planning with hands-on execution, prioritizing high-impact activities that drive awareness, credibility, and pipeline growth.
- • Foster a culture of learning and data-driven improvement by using metrics to refine messaging, content performance, and event ROI.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5–8 years of marketing experience with an emphasis on product marketing
- • Experience at a B2B startup or scale-up, ideally in life sciences, digital health, healthcare IT, or data platforms
- • Proven ability to build narratives for complex, technical products and translate them for non-technical buyers
- • Excellent writer with the ability to adapt voice and style for scientific, business, and general audiences
- • AI-native: use AI tools as a core part of your workflow, not an experiment
- • Familiarity with life sciences, pharma, or healthcare—don’t need a PhD, but shouldn’t need explanation of what a clinical trial is
🏖️ Benefits
- • Remote work and flexible hours
- • Complete wellness benefits including healthcare, dental, vision, PTO, and sick days
- • Professional development days to build skills
- • Collegial work environment with academic inquiry and startup speed
- • Mission-driven culture focused on improving patient care
