- • Lead the end-to-end supply chain and procurement operations for Crusoe Energy Systems, overseeing everything from raw material sourcing to final product delivery for AI infrastructure hardware.
- • Architect and maintain real-time executive dashboards that deliver a single source of truth for supply chain spend, lead-time volatility, and deployment velocity, translating complex data into actionable strategic insights.
- • Own the Quarterly Business Review (QBR) process for Tier-1 suppliers, driving long-term roadmap alignment, continuous improvement, and designation of Crusoe as a Preferred Partner.
- • Standardize procurement and tracking tools (e.g., Coupa, Jira, SAP) across technical silos including Networking, Compute, Storage, and Connectivity to eliminate data silos and unify visibility into the global cloud stack.
- • Partner with Technical Project Managers to build predictive supply chain models tailored to the unique lifecycle requirements of infrastructure categories such as GPU clusters and sub-sea fiber links.
- • Design, implement, and govern a unified KPI framework to consistently measure supplier health and delivery performance across all hardware types and geographies.
- • Develop and execute innovative, cost-effective procurement strategies aligned with company objectives, including RFPs, RFQs, supplier selection, and contract negotiation.
- • Optimize logistical operations to reduce operational costs, improve delivery timelines, and ensure seamless flow of goods globally.
- • Implement strategic inventory control solutions to mitigate stockouts and minimize excess or obsolete inventory while maintaining operational readiness.
- • Conduct comprehensive risk management for all supply contracts, including proactive contingency planning to ensure business continuity under volatile market conditions.
- • Lead cross-functional coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders to align demand forecasting with supply capabilities and ensure perfect supply-demand balance.
- • Champion and integrate sustainability practices throughout procurement and supply chain operations, ensuring alignment with Crusoe Energy’s environmental goals and ESG commitments.
- • Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and emerging supply chain innovations to maintain Crusoe’s competitive advantage in AI infrastructure procurement.
- • Travel up to 35% of the time to support supplier visits, manufacturing site audits, and on-site operational reviews.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain/Logistics, or related field
- • 10+ years of experience in supply chain or procurement leadership, preferably within the energy sector
- • Proven track record managing complex supply chains, vendor compliance, and process improvements
- • Strong contract negotiation and supplier relationship management skills
- • Proficiency in supply chain management software, including Acumatica (ERP)
- • Knowledge of sustainable procurement practices and relevant regulations
