📋 Description
- • Lead and mentor a team of project managers responsible for end-to-end execution of fixed video surveillance deployments across North America, ensuring timely, within-budget, and high-quality project delivery.
- • Oversee the full project lifecycle for video solutions including Vigilant LPR and Avigilon systems, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and formal closure.
- • Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, aligning resource allocation with project scope and organizational objectives.
- • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal cross-functional teams (IT, facilities, procurement, security) and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless integration of customer-purchased video systems.
- • Coordinate with vendors to evaluate new products, negotiate contracts, and enforce quality standards for deployed video surveillance technology.
- • Prepare and present detailed project reports, technical documentation, and progress updates to leadership and clients, translating technical details for non-technical audiences.
- • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks including scope changes, schedule delays, and budget overruns, developing and communicating contingency plans.
- • Ensure all deployments comply with legal, regulatory, data privacy, and cybersecurity standards specific to public safety and enterprise environments.
- • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop, document, and enforce standardized operating procedures (SOPs) and quality assurance processes for project management.
- • Track and analyze subcontractor and site installation performance, verifying completion of short- and long-term milestones against project plans.
- • Maintain and update construction schedules, coordinating with multiple trades and direct subcontractors to align work sequences and avoid delays.
- • Manage project records and documentation using the defined Project Management Information System, ensuring accurate and auditable project tracking.
- • Attend contractor meetings to represent client security interests and validate adherence to project scope and specifications.
- • Clarify and validate project-specific requirements with customers and internal teams to ensure accurate scoping and deliverable alignment.
- • Maintain current job plans, technical specifications, and installation documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- • Travel over 50% of the time to customer locations, subcontractor offices, project sites, and warehouses across the Southeast and Midwest U.S. for site walks, vendor meetings, and deployment oversight.
- • Work remotely with minimal disruption, consistently participating in video meetings and conference calls with internal and external stakeholders.
- • Represent Motorola Solutions professionally in all client and partner interactions, upholding company standards and values.
- • Demonstrate aggressive and creative problem-solving skills in complex, multi-organizational environments to overcome operational challenges and drive project success.
- • Ensure accurate and timely project procurement, billing, and financial tracking in collaboration with finance and operations teams.
