📋 Description

• • Senior Python Core Engineer responsible for owning and strengthening Chime’s Python ecosystem, ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable Python foundations across data engineering, analytics, machine learning, and AI initiatives.
• • Day-to-day responsibilities include owning Python version standards and upgrade cadence, designing safe upgrade processes, establishing dependency management practices, improving CI/CD performance for Python projects, maintaining critical internal Python libraries, defining and evangelizing Python best practices, and identifying opportunities to maximize returns from the Python + AI ecosystem.
• • Part of the Languages & Frameworks team within Engineering Services at Chime, a financial technology company focused on helping members achieve financial progress through user-friendly tools and intuitive platforms; collaborates closely with platform teams, CI/CD stakeholders, and data/ML orgs to drive standardization and reduce security risk.
