- • Own end-to-end technical SEO strategy across Zable’s digital properties, ensuring sites are the fastest, cleanest, and most crawlable in UK fintech
- • Conduct continuous technical SEO audits using Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, and log file analysis to identify and prioritize crawlability, indexation, and rendering issues
- • Drive improvements in Core Web Vitals and page speed across all domains, partnering directly with engineering teams to implement performance optimizations
- • Architect and maintain structured data and schema markup (product, financial, FAQ) to enhance visibility in search results and prepare for AI Overviews
- • Lead the planning, scoping, and execution of SEO-led product launches including calculators, comparison tools, interactive guides, and programmatic content systems
- • Identify high-volume, high-intent search opportunities that require product-level investment rather than content-only solutions, bringing an SEO lens to every product decision
- • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define SEO requirements for new features, site architecture changes, internal linking strategies, and URL structures
- • Build and maintain technical SEO tooling stack, dashboards, and alerting systems to monitor site health and trigger proactive interventions
- • Generate regular reporting on organic performance, technical health, and impact metrics for the Head of SEO and CMO
- • Lead technical readiness for AI search by optimizing for entity recognition, structured content access, and LLM-driven search patterns
- • Leverage AI tools to scale audit workflows, automate brief generation, and enhance monitoring capabilities across large-scale site surfaces
- • Scope and ship technical SEO initiatives autonomously from concept to launch, balancing quick wins with long-term foundational improvements
- • Serve as the primary SEO expert on cross-functional product teams, ensuring SEO considerations are embedded in every product lifecycle
- • Optimize for JS-rendered environments using Next.js and React, ensuring proper rendering, indexing, and crawl efficiency
- • Evaluate and implement strategies for international or multi-domain SEO where applicable, ensuring consistent technical standards across regional sites
- • Maintain a rigorous, data-driven approach, focusing on measurable impact rather than activity metrics
- • Stay at the forefront of evolving search landscapes, particularly AI search, and adapt technical strategies accordingly
🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years in technical SEO with hands-on ownership of audits, fixes, and shipped impact
- • Strong understanding of site architecture, crawl budget, internal linking, and indexation
- • Confident with Core Web Vitals, page speed optimization, and JavaScript rendering
- • Experienced with structured data and schema (product, financial, FAQ)
- • Comfortable with crawlers (Screaming Frog, Sitebulb), log file analysis, and rendering tools
- • Experience building SEO-led product surfaces, programmatic content systems, or using AI in technical SEO workflows
