- • Assist in developing Lendable’s capital markets strategy to fund over £2.5bn per annum by 2026.
- • Manage strategic funding projects from origination to execution under tight timeframes.
- • Originate and execute new capital transactions including direct lending through forward flow agreements, private and public asset-backed financing, and new fund launches.
- • Manage relationships with investors including banks, investment banks, asset managers, hedge funds, insurance companies, pension funds, high net worth investors, and family offices.
- • Arrange and conduct due diligence sessions for new investors entering Lendable’s funding ecosystem.
- • Assist in the ongoing management and operations of Lendable’s existing funds.
- • Support the development of funding strategies for new product launches across loans, credit cards, and car finance.
- • Provide analytical and strategic support to senior management and founders on corporate development initiatives and strategic assessments.
- • Utilize financial modeling and Excel to structure, analyze, and present funding options and investment scenarios.
- • Use SQL to query, manage, and extract insights from large-scale financial and operational data sets.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across product, risk, and engineering to align funding strategy with business growth objectives.
- • Communicate complex financial concepts clearly and precisely to internal stakeholders and external investors through written reports and verbal presentations.
- • Maintain a high level of attention to detail in all documentation, modeling, and investor communications.
- • Adapt quickly to a fast-paced, evolving environment with shifting priorities and new financial structures.
- • Take ownership of key funding initiatives with autonomy to drive decisions that materially impact company growth.
- • Participate in onsite interviews and modeling exercises as part of the internal hiring process for capital markets roles.
- • Engage in regular in-office collaboration days when assigned to a hybrid role, including access to in-house chef-prepared lunches at select locations.
- • Leverage Lendable’s proprietary technology and data-driven systems to enhance funding efficiency and investor targeting.
🎯 Requirements
- • 1-2 years of relevant experience for Analyst roles; 3-4 years for Associate roles in capital markets, corporate finance, or structured finance
- • Strong analytical and numerical skills with proven ability to work with complex financial data
- • High proficiency in Excel and financial modeling
- • Knowledge of SQL for querying and managing large-scale datasets
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with close attention to detail
- • Bachelor’s degree or higher
