- • Senior Quality System Engineer at Anduril Industries, a defense technology company transforming military capabilities with advanced technology like Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system for real-time 3D command and control.
- • Develop, lead, and manage the execution of the Quality Management System (QMS) and its top-level processes; coordinate resources for internal and external audits; lead QMS software implementation and adoption across Anduril sites; partner with business systems, product quality, and manufacturing teams to prepare new processes and digital tools to meet QMS requirements; develop internal QMS roadmap for tools and capabilities to scale with company growth; become a systems expert for Anduril’s quality tool, processes, and data sets; communicate with external audit agencies and support customer audits; manage the QMS internal auditor process and participate as an internal auditor; identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities; support investigations, initiatives, and projects at team or organization level; support developing QMS training modules and facilitate training records retention; drive root cause analysis and corrective action from internal audit findings and customer visits.
- • Anduril’s Quality organization ensures deployment of reliable products meeting all mission requirements by working with customers, internal teams, and suppliers; develops cutting-edge Quality processes and methods for scalable, long-term business success; growing team focused on internal site growth and implementing a world-class QMS software application supporting internal manufacturing sites, supplier sites, and Arsenal 1 facility.
- • Gain deep expertise in QMS standards (ISO 9001:2015, AS9100D, AS9110C, AS9120B, AS6500, etc.), QMS software implementation, data analytics, and project management; drive continuous improvement and culture of quality; lead cross-functional initiatives impacting product reliability and compliance; advance career in defense technology quality systems with exposure to AI-integrated manufacturing and global supply chains.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of experience in aerospace and/or defense manufacturing
- • Expert knowledge of QMS requirements and auditing in complex product environments, including ISO 9001:2015, AS9100D, AS9110C, AS9120B, AS6500, IATF 16949:2016, ISO 13485:2016, or TL 9000 R6.3
- • Working knowledge of QMS software solutions such as Net Inspect, Siemens, SAP, ETQ, One Factory, MasterControl, Compliance Quest, Hexagon, PTC, or QT9
- • Hands-on experience with data analytics platforms, reporting tools, and basic data visualization
- • Demonstrated project management for software system implementation and onboarding of internal and external users
- • Working knowledge of design, development, manufacturing, supply chain, deployment, contracts, and cross-organizational audit processes
- • Knowledge of ERP, PLM, and Business Intelligence (BI) systems
- • Strong ownership mindset with proven ability to drive projects from start to completion
- • Proven track record of successful QMS implementation and success
- • U.S. Person status required for access to export-controlled data
- • Expected travel of 50% of the time
