- • Support and quote projects for top or key customers, potentially managing multiple locations or regions, while providing technical information and product knowledge to the sales team and other Quote Specialists.
- • Manage bids by calling on municipalities, attending openings, promoting products, following up on bid awards, correlating cost information within time frames, preparing formal quotations and submittals, entering purchase orders, and ensuring timely order fulfillment.
- • Maintain and log projects for quotations, assist with project management, coordinate deliverables, act as the focal point for quote and proposal questions, and prepare monthly reports tracking quotation activity and key metrics while strengthening customer relationships.
- • Work in a remote role based in Colorado for a St. Louis-headquartered company that is a leader in water, wastewater, storm drainage, and fire protection products, serving municipalities, private water companies, and contractors across the U.S. with over 370 locations and 5,700 associates committed to safe and reliable infrastructure.
- • Develop problem-solving skills by identifying key barriers, troubleshooting complex issues, making decisions under uncertainty, and independently performing assignments with limited instruction while receiving technical guidance only on unusual or complex problems.
- • Gain experience in overseeing project completion, including planning, assigning, monitoring, reviewing progress, evaluating results, and contributing to team members’ professional development without hiring or firing authority.
- • Operate in a comfortable work environment with occasional exposure to dust, fumes, or odors, requiring light material handling (under 8 pounds) and less than 10% overnight travel.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum of 18 years of age or older
- • BS/BA in a related discipline with 5-8 years of experience in a related field, or MS/MA with 3-5 years of experience; certification required in some areas
- • Broad knowledge of product lines and familiarity with examining plans and specifications to identify process analyzers, level measurement sensors, flow meters, and chemical feed equipment
