- • Perform routine data management tasks including data cleaning, processing, and merging of multiple data files.
- • Conduct data validations and quality assurance checks, including direct engagement with survey respondents to verify data accuracy.
- • Execute complex and advanced statistical analyses to support public health research initiatives.
- • Prepare technical reports, scientific manuscripts, briefing materials, and other documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- • Contribute to the development of data management and data analysis plans for public health programs.
- • Recommend optimal data collection procedures, including sampling plans, data sources, and cost/time trade-offs.
- • Design and develop written or visual reports such as dashboards and infographics to communicate research findings.
- • Support proposal and grant submissions through technical writing and methodological documentation.
- • Apply proficiency in statistical software, particularly SAS and R, to analyze quantitative datasets.
- • Demonstrate proactive problem-solving in addressing data challenges and methodological gaps.
- • Collaborate effectively within a large, multidisciplinary team to achieve project objectives.
- • Maintain strong written and oral communication skills to convey technical findings to diverse audiences.
- • Exhibit excellent organizational and project management skills to handle multiple priorities under strict deadlines.
- • Apply meticulous attention to detail in all stages of data handling, analysis, and reporting.
- • Work in a fast-paced environment requiring the ability to prioritize tasks and meet time-sensitive deliverables.
- • Contribute to public health research focused on behavioral health, including mental health and substance use treatment or prevention.
- • Utilize data visualization tools such as Tableau or similar platforms to create actionable dashboards and infographics.
- • Apply program evaluation methodologies to assess the impact and effectiveness of public health interventions.
🎯 Requirements
- • Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., public health, psychology, statistics, biostatistics, epidemiology)
- • Minimum of five years of experience managing and analyzing quantitative data
- • Proficiency in statistical analysis using SAS and R
