- • Own the end-to-end Quote-to-Cash (QTC) technology stack for Outreach’s global revenue engine, ensuring every quote, contract, invoice, and renewal flows flawlessly through Salesforce, Zuora Quotes CPQ, Zuora Billing, Conga, and HighRadius.
- • Architect and deliver scalable, low-maintenance solutions that power our GTM teams—Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and Legal—so they can close deals faster, bill accurately, and recognize revenue without friction.
- • Lead the continuous evolution of our CPQ and billing processes: refactor legacy automations, introduce new Lightning Web Components, and integrate subscription lifecycle events (upgrades, downgrades, co-terminus renewals) into a single source of truth.
- • Translate complex business requirements into elegant technical designs—sequence diagrams, ERDs, and user stories—then implement with Apex, Flow, and declarative tools while enforcing governor limits and security best practices.
- • Partner daily with Revenue Operations to model pricing rules, discount matrices, approval chains, and usage-based billing scenarios; run sprint reviews and backlog-grooming sessions that turn wish-lists into shippable features every two weeks.
- • Troubleshoot production issues across the stack—whether it’s a stalled quote sync, a billing run failure, or a tax calculation mismatch—then perform root-cause analysis and permanent fixes that prevent recurrence.
- • Own release management: design deployment pipelines in Gearset, coordinate sandbox testing, and maintain a living playbook that guarantees zero-downtime promotions to production.
- • Drive data integrity initiatives—deduplication jobs, currency normalization, and subscription alignment—so Finance can close the books on day five instead of day fifteen.
- • Mentor junior developers and admins through code reviews, pair-programming, and lunch-and-learn sessions, raising the bar for clean, test-covered Apex and Lightning components.
- • Stay ahead of the curve: evaluate new Salesforce releases, Zuora roadmap items, and ecosystem apps (Avalara, DocuSign, Conga Sign) to recommend innovations that shave hours off each sales cycle.
- • Champion a culture of documentation—Confluence pages, JIRA epics, and run-books—so tribal knowledge becomes institutional knowledge and onboarding new team members takes days, not weeks.
- • Present quarterly business reviews to senior leadership, translating technical metrics (deployment frequency, CPQ quote-to-order cycle time, billing accuracy) into revenue impact and customer satisfaction scores.
