📋 Description

• Senior Security Engineer role at WellTech Limited, a global wellness technology company with Ukrainian roots, focused on strengthening the company's security posture and supporting its mission to scale wellness apps globally.
• Own and drive execution of key security initiatives, mentor junior team members, collaborate with engineering and product teams to embed security best practices, lead PCI-DSS compliance efforts, design and maintain security controls across systems and cloud environments, contribute to threat modeling and incident response, develop internal security policies, and support security awareness programs.
• Part of a small but dedicated Security Team within a company of 500+ people across hubs in Cyprus, Ukraine, Poland, Spain, and the UK, combining market leadership scale with startup agility in the wellness app space.
• Opportunity to shape the security roadmap, mentor teammates, lead compliance initiatives, and drive improvements in security maturity through automation, standardization, and proactive threat evaluation while working with widely used wellness apps like Muscle Booster, Yoga-Go, and WalkFit.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on security engineering experience with proven expertise in implementing and managing security solutions
• Proficiency with Python (especially writing Lambda functions)
• Experience with Kubernetes in production environments
• Very good knowledge of cloud platforms - AWS or Google Cloud
• Solid understanding of security principles, vulnerabilities, and common attack techniques
• Familiarity with CI/CD tooling and secure deployment practices
