- • As a Senior Security Engineer at Group 1001 Holdings LLC, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and fortifying the organization's security posture, with a specific emphasis on Data Protection, AI/MCP Security, and SaaS Application Security.
- • This is a hands-on engineering position, demanding a proactive approach to designing, implementing, and optimizing robust security controls and platforms that demonstrably reduce organizational risk.
- • Your core responsibility will involve the comprehensive management and enhancement of the entire data protection stack. This includes expertise in Data Classification & Labeling, Data Security Posture Management (DSPM), Endpoint and Network Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and Security Service Edge (SSE) / Security Service Provider (SSP) solutions.
- • You will be instrumental in integrating and governing these technologies, ensuring they align with business objectives and risk appetite.
- • A significant aspect of your role will be to own these data protection capabilities end-to-end, from the initial evaluation and selection of tools to their seamless implementation, ongoing optimization, and strategic maturity.
- • In the rapidly evolving landscape of Artificial Intelligence, you will be tasked with investigating and implementing appropriate security measures to enable the secure adoption of AI solutions.
- • This necessitates staying abreast of emerging "secure AI" best practices, fostering close collaboration with the Identity and Access Management (IAM) team, and leveraging your development acumen to bridge any gaps where vendor solutions may be insufficient.
- • With the increasing reliance on SaaS platforms for critical business operations, you will meticulously evaluate their integration points, assess the efficacy of native security features, and identify areas requiring supplementary third-party controls.
- • Your focus will be particularly sharp on securing identity management, API usage, data flow, and ensuring robust auditability within these SaaS environments.
- • You will operate effectively across both strategic and execution levels, translating complex risk signals and investigative findings into actionable security controls, sophisticated detection logic, and efficient response workflows.
- • Success in this role hinges on your strong engineering judgment, a rigorous analytical approach, and the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to a diverse audience, including both technical peers and non-technical stakeholders.
- • Key contributions will include evaluating, implementing, and optimizing a variety of data protection platforms and controls to meet evolving threats.
- • You will be responsible for configuring and maturing security control frameworks, ensuring they are tightly aligned with the organization's specific business risks and compliance requirements.
- • A crucial part of your work will involve implementing and maintaining seamless integrations between various security tools and broader enterprise platforms, creating a cohesive security ecosystem.
- • You will establish and refine robust onboarding and lifecycle management processes for new security tools and vendor integrations, ensuring efficient and secure deployment.
- • Driving continuous improvement will be a key objective, utilizing metrics and outcome-based approaches to demonstrate measurable risk reduction.
- • You will enhance SaaS security posture management and monitoring capabilities through the strategic optimization of existing platforms and the potential integration of new solutions.
- • Furthermore, you will evaluate and implement cutting-party vendor solutions specifically designed for AI platform security and advanced data protection needs.
- • This role offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of securing cutting-edge technologies and protecting sensitive data within a dynamic financial services organization.
