📋 Description

• As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Delinea, you will play a critical role in safeguarding the availability, performance, and resilience of the company’s cloud-native Identity Security Platform, which secures human and machine identities across global enterprises. Your work directly supports Delinea’s mission to protect what matters most by ensuring systems operate with 99.995% uptime and minimal operational overhead.
• You will serve as the primary technical owner for mission-critical SaaS applications hosted in AWS and Azure, driving automation, incident response, observability, and infrastructure reliability across multi-cloud environments while mentoring teams to embed SRE principles from design through deployment.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include configuring, monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving complex cloud infrastructure and application issues across AWS and Azure environments, ensuring SLAs are met through active participation in weekend and emergency on-call rotations.
• You will develop and maintain automation solutions for monitoring, alert mitigation, telemetry, log analysis, and incident response, leveraging tools like Datadog, AWS CloudWatch, and the ELK stack to enable proactive detection and resolution of system anomalies.
• Applying observability best practices, you will use logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting to detect issues before they impact users, while partnering with engineering, security, and product teams to integrate reliability, security, and performance into services from the ground up.
• You will lead and contribute to post-incident reviews, conducting root cause analysis and implementing preventive actions to improve system resilience and reduce recurrence of failures.
• Guiding deployments, migrations, and infrastructure improvements across heterogeneous environments, you will apply expertise in Kubernetes, microservices, networking (firewalls, VLANs, NAT, NACLs, load balancing, VPN, DNS, DHCP), and disaster recovery strategies to enhance system robustness.
• You will collaborate with global teams to drive reliability improvements, champion infrastructure-as-code practices using Terraform and CloudFormation, and optimize cost and performance in geo-redundant, large-scale architectures.
• Joining Delinea’s new Mexico City office, you will help shape the culture and technical foundation of a growing global hub, working hybrid (3 days/week) alongside passionate engineers committed to innovation, integrity, and impact in identity security.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in cloud-native SRE practices, influence architectural decisions at scale, and grow as a technical leader in a company backed by TPG, recognized for its 90% lower resource footprint versus competitors and commitment to operational excellence.

🎯 Requirements

• 9+ years of relevant experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Cloud Administration with proven hands-on expertise in AWS and Azure, including microservices on Kubernetes and cloud security.
• Strong background in integrating, upgrading, securing, and supporting software systems across heterogeneous environments, with hands-on experience in monitoring and observability tools (Datadog, AWS CloudWatch, ELK stack) and networking fundamentals (firewalls, VLANs, NAT, NACLs, load balancing, VPN, DNS, DHCP, packet filtering).
• Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, SOC 2, GDPR) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Azure DevOps pipelines), plus experience with CI/CD automation (Jenkins), configuration management (SaltStack), and service discovery (Consul).
