📋 Description

• Senior Site Reliability Engineer role focused on building and maintaining a robust research platform to accelerate scientific discoveries at Owkin, an AI company developing Biology Super Intelligence.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and maintaining AWS-based infrastructure, participating in incident response, analyzing system and application metrics, improving CI/CD pipelines, contributing to data architecture with security compliance, leading SRE initiatives, mentoring team members, and participating in shared on-call rotations.
• Part of the Engineering team at Owkin, working on cutting-edge AI-driven biology research platform that combines biological LLMs, multimodal patient data, and agentic software to advance diagnostics and therapies.
• Opportunity to lead technical initiatives, mentor peers, deepen expertise in cloud infrastructure, observability, and security compliance while contributing to mission-critical systems used by researchers and clinicians globally.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of industry experience with a Masters or BS degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field
• Strong experience with AWS cloud computing services or equivalent (GCP, Azure)
• Expertise in Terraform and Kubernetes
• Experience deploying and maintaining on-premises environments
• Good knowledge of Linux environment (system, security, and network)
• Experience with CI/CD tooling (FluxCD, GitHub Actions, etc.)
• Experience with logging, monitoring, and alerting stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, etc.)
• Experience in cybersecurity and applicable standards, particularly ISO 27001
• Fluency in English; French language skills preferred
