📋 Description

• • As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer focused on Data Pipeline at Bloomreach Inc., you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of the infrastructure that powers Loomi AI — the agentic platform driving personalized customer experiences for over 1,400 global brands. Your work directly enables engineering teams to innovate with confidence by providing a stable, observable, and secure foundation for data-intensive services in GCP and Kubernetes.
• • You will build and maintain a resilient ecosystem where engineers can safely develop, deploy, and operate services using Python, Go, DataFlow, DataProc, and Kubernetes on GCP. This includes implementing observability (Prometheus, Victoria Metrics, Grafana, OTEL), enforcing security controls for ISO/SOC2 compliance (encryption, key rotation, authz/authentication via Envoy proxies), enabling auto-scaling based on telemetry, and contributing to internal tooling for debugging, performance testing, and incident resolution. You will participate in L3 on-call rotation, automate manual deployment and instance setup steps, and ensure CI pipelines include linters, security scans, and code quality checks to promote engineering excellence.
• • You will join a remote-first, high-trust engineering team within Bloomreach’s DevOps/SRE function, collaborating closely with backend engineers to uphold the ‘you build, you run’ principle. The team values autonomy, data-driven decision-making, and infrastructure-as-code practices, with Terraform and Helm as core tools. Based in Slovakia with office access in Bratislava, Brno, or Prague, you’ll contribute to a culture that prioritizes results over process, continuous learning, and psychological safety — all while supporting Bloomreach’s mission to revolutionize commerce through AI-powered personalization.
• • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in cloud-native SRE practices, gain hands-on experience with large-scale data pipeline technologies (Kafka, Iceberg, Avro, Parquet, Spark, Beam), and influence the evolution of observability and security standards across a growing AI-driven platform.
