• • As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer on the Identity Platform team at Coinbase, you will play a pivotal role in building, scaling, and maintaining the critical identity and access management (IAM) systems that underpin our entire organization. • • Your primary focus will be on partnering with various departments across Coinbase, including IT, Security, and Engineering, to design, implement, and maintain highly performant, reliable, and secure system architectures for our identity platform.
• • You will serve as a subject matter expert in corporate IAM and DevOps tooling, providing guidance and support to adjacent teams to ensure consistent and secure access management practices throughout the company.
• • A key aspect of this role involves implementing sophisticated automation tooling and scripting to eliminate manual, repetitive tasks. By reducing inefficiencies in system operations, you will directly contribute to increased productivity and system stability.
• • You will be responsible for creating comprehensive documentation, including detailed runbooks, that clearly outline system configurations, operational procedures, and effective troubleshooting steps across the entire system lifecycle. This ensures knowledge transfer and operational resilience.
• • Building and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines is crucial for this role. You will ensure seamless integration of changes and efficient deployment to production environments through progressively tested stages, maintaining high standards of quality and reliability.
• • You will leverage configuration management tools to define and maintain the desired state of our infrastructure, ensuring consistency and predictability across all environments.

• • Defining key metrics and bolstering monitoring and observability across our corporate IAM systems is essential. You will establish clear performance indicators and implement advanced monitoring solutions to ensure the health, availability, and security of these critical systems.
• • As part of a dedicated team, you will participate in a regular on-call rotation, ensuring 24x7 uptime and immediate response to any critical system events, safeguarding Coinbase's operations.

• • You will contribute to the strategic roadmap for the Identity Platform, evaluating new technologies and approaches to enhance security, scalability, and user experience.
