- • As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Kraken’s Payward Services unit, you will ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of infrastructure supporting B2B and institutional crypto products under strict SLAs.
- • You will manage and support hybrid-cloud infrastructure including Nomad, Kubernetes, and databases; maintain CI/CD pipelines; provide operational support across teams; participate in incident response; and build tooling for observability and automation.
- • You will collaborate with developers, QA, and product managers to streamline release cycles and improve system resilience while supporting a fully distributed, global team across multiple timezones.
- • This role offers the opportunity to deepen expertise in cloud-native systems, drive operational excellence in a high-stakes financial crypto environment, and contribute to mission-critical services used by institutional clients worldwide.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or SRE role
- • Proficiency with hybrid-cloud infrastructure environments
- • Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Go
- • Deep understanding of monitoring and alerting systems, preferably Prometheus and Grafana
- • Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Nomad, Kubernetes)
- • Git and CI/CD configuration proficiency
