- • As a Senior Software Configuration Management Engineer/Senior System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), you will be a pivotal member of our IT infrastructure team, responsible for the comprehensive planning, setup, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of our enterprise-level SCCM and Microsoft Intune environments.
- • This role demands a deep understanding of workstation hardware and software management, ensuring seamless operation and security across our entire user base.
- • You will be instrumental in implementing, administering, and configuring the SCCM/Intune enterprise environment, acting as the primary administrator for these critical systems.
- • A key responsibility involves the meticulous packaging, testing, and application of patches and security updates for all supported Operating Systems, safeguarding our systems against emerging threats.
- • You will leverage your expertise in desktop deployment automation architecture, including design, migration, and troubleshooting of SCCM/Intune hierarchies, to ensure efficient and reliable system deployments.
- • The creation, rigorous testing, and deployment of OS images will be a core function, ensuring standardized and up-to-date operating system installations for all workstations.
- • You will be responsible for the packaging, deployment, configuration baselines, installation, and administration of all approved software applications, ensuring consistency and compliance.
- • This position requires you to provide expert technical guidance and strategic recommendations to other IT groups, fostering collaboration and driving best practices across the organization.
- • You will develop, implement, and promote standard operating procedures and schedules for configuration management activities, enhancing efficiency and predictability.
- • Conducting regular hardware and software audits will be essential to ensure adherence to established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines, maintaining system integrity and compliance.
- • You will be expected to perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to contribute to the broader IT objectives.
- • This role requires a proactive approach to identifying and implementing system improvements and optimizing existing infrastructure to enhance performance and scalability.
- • You will work with the latest versions of SCCM CB, manage Office 365 application usage, and utilize Intune/Azure for device management.
- • Expertise in current Windows OS deployments, image creation, distribution, and Windows 11 desktop feature upgrades is crucial.
- • Experience with MDT, OSD, and Office suite migrations will be highly valued.
- • Application packaging and scripting, with a preference for InstallShield and/or PatchMyPC experience, is a significant part of this role.
- • You will manage desktop patching and Group Policy Management (GPOs), as well as Intune Policy management.
- • A strong command of PowerShell scripting is highly preferred for automation and complex task management.
- • This is a remote-telework position, offering flexibility while requiring US Citizenship for eligibility.
